Friday Favorites: Puppies, Bulletproof Coffee, Botanical products, and more.

Ever feel so excited about something you want to tell the whole world?

I feel that way a lot.

So today, I decided to start a weekly project of sharing and celebrating my current list of favorite goodies.

It's similar to a gratitude practice. I love focusing on the bounty in life. There are so many wonderful things out there!

I intend on sharing my appreciation for this bounty every Friday. Some weeks there may be a bunch of stuff, some weeks maybe just a handful of things.

So without further ado, this week's favorites are:

1. Hero + Halo

My new furbabies. They are such a joy and a tremendous blessing. So smart, cuddly, and oodles of fun. They're totally rockin my world lately.

2. Coffee with Grassfed Butter

Say what you will. But I am hooked on this trend. It's really amazing. The fat from the butter really helps prevent the coffee jitters and I happen to enjoy the taste and like stirring the layer of fatty goodness on top. I've been on the butter train for a few years now and I have to tell you - my docs say I have amazing cholesterol and blood pressure. Fat wins!

3. My Thoth Deck

It was calling to me so I returned to it. After a much needed hiatus from this intense deck, I worked closely with the Medicine Woman Deck. Re-visiting this deck was a great decision. My readings lately are so profound and crystal clear. The deck even has a different weight to it - a heaviness. But in a good way. As in, they are the real deal.

4. Pineapple + Madia Flower Essences

I'm a huge fan and believer in flower essences. They are the sweetest magic potions and they offer gentle, yet effective healing. Alice said it right, "You can learn a lot of things from the flowers". Through these two gems, I'm learning and healing issues around self-worth, financial abundance (Pineapple), and disciplined focus and concentration (Madia).

5. Earth to Face Products

A friend of my friend makes these delicious (even edible) skin products made with super high quality, organic goodness. My skin is obsessed with these oil blends and is singing radiance ever since I started using them. I use the Anti-Aging under my eyes at night, (hey I'm turning 34 this year, why not) and the Nourish + Balance for my daily facial moisturizer. I'm all about oil inside and outside (remember I mentioned I love fat?). I even wash my face with oil, that's it and that's all. Go here to check out these goodies.

6. Cleansing Conditioner

This comes with a side story. Truth be told, I actually went to Walgreens to buy some regular ole shampoo because the natural one I've been using is making my hair dry and brittle. Once I was in the aisle, I couldn't stop myself from looking at the ingredients - the toxic, disgusting poisons that are actually legal to slather all over our bodies, in a hot shower, on the daily. It's appalling. I could go on and on. I couldn't tolerate the intense perfume-y smells they had, and so, I couldn't with good conscience purchase any because I know I would drive myself bonkers thinking about the chemicals. Then I found this bottle. It's all-in-one, chemical free, and smells fantastic. It made my hair feel amazingly soft. I'm sold. I'm so glad I didn't have to compromise my chemical-free values either!

7. The Four Shields

I'm re-visiting this incredible book after reading prior to a guided vision quest last year. In short, it's about initiatory rites of passage, the four seasons, and the medicine wheel. But, it speaks volumes more about the damage our modern culture has on the human psyche. I'm diving into it with new eyes and will be returning to the same piece of land for my 'anniversary' quest. I'm curious to see how it will be different and how it will be the same. I'm also re-reading this book because, (drum roll please)...I will be co-facilitating this year's class! I couldn't be more excited to participate in this experience. I plan on bringing back some wisdom to share, in addition to offering my own guided vision quests in the nearish future - so, stay tuned!

8. This Quote

Danielle LaPorte is the jam. Besides having the same first name (which is pretty rad), I really appreciate her practical approach to living a spiritual life. She knows how to speak her truth and deliver the goods in a straight up, honest way. I loved finding this quote today because it aligns with some of my recent contemplations about manifestation and possibility. What I'm discovering is that the key to shifting gears and really driving the manifestation home, is through the ownership piece. You want it? Well, OWN it. And I can tell you right now, I'm making joy a priority. How about you?

What is on your 'favorite' list right now? I'd love to know!
